When you enter this building you enter not just the most historic and beautiful building in the parish, but also a place of living worship. Over the centuries it has been a sacred place of worship and this continues into the 21st century.
Today the church is linked with four other churches in Blakesley, Adstone, Litchborough and Maidford and together we form the Lambfold Benefice. We look to each other for mutual Christian love and support, aiming to be a centre of prayer and Christian teaching for the whole community.
I hope that you enjoy the beauty and peace of the Farthingstone church. During your visit you may like to stop and think, to pray and to feel yourself in the company of parishioners and pilgrims down the years who have stood where you are standing, to admire the beauty of the atmosphere and to glimpse a sense of God’s love for you.
